Tom Brady has added a new title to his already-packed post-retirement resume: runway model.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion made his catwalk debut at Gucci’s GucciCore Cruise 2027 fashion show on Saturday night, May 16, 2026, strutting through the heart of Times Square in an all-black leather look that had the crowd talking.
Brady, 48, walked the Gucci runway in a sleek black leather jacket, matching pants and dress shoes, finishing the look with a simple silver watch. He gave the cameras a cool smirk as he made his way down the catwalk, looking every bit the seasoned professional.
The GucciCore show, helmed by creative director Demna Gvasalia, marks his first Cruise collection for the storied Italian fashion house. The runway was inspired by artist Robert Longo‘s iconic “Men in the Cities” series.
In a statement, Demna described the collection as one that “distills the essence of Gucci as a visual language into a collection built around a new core wardrobe. A plurality of styles that intersect like the streets of the city.” He added that he “wanted to do the impossible and place Gucci at the centre of this metropolis.”
Brady was far from the only famous face walking the Gucci fashion show. Paris Hilton returned to the runway for the first time since her Mugler Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 appearance at Paris Fashion Week in October 2023, this time sporting a brunette wig in a stark departure from her signature blonde locks. Emily Ratajkowski also took her turn on the catwalk, while supermodel Cindy Crawford brought the show to a close as the dramatic finale walk.
The celebrity front row was nothing short of spectacular. Mariah Carey, Shawn Mendes, Kim Kardashian and Iman all turned out to watch, as did Lindsay Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas. Alix Earle, who was previously linked to Brady in dating rumors earlier this year, was also spotted at the event.
Brady’s Gucci fashion show appearance is the latest chapter in his rapidly expanding post-NFL life. Since hanging up his jersey for good in 2023, he has settled into a role as a Fox Sports analyst, though he recently revealed that a return to the field briefly crossed his mind.
“I actually have inquired, and they don’t like that idea very much,” Brady told CNBC in March. “We explored a lot of different things, and I’m very happily retired. Let me just say that, too.”
For now, the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback appears content stepping into new arenas, whether that’s broadcasting or, apparently, high fashion. He has been open about cherishing the time retirement affords him with his family.
“I love those little kiddos more than anything,” Brady told E! News in 2024. “They’re the best part of every day of mine.” He went on to say, “They light up our lives in so many ways. They teach us to really be present with them.” Brady is dad to son Jack, 18, with ex Bridget Moynahan, and to Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, with former wife Gisele Bundchen.
As for the reaction to Brady’s Gucci catwalk moment? It was a touchdown on social media, with fans comparing his stiff but confident stride to everything from “GOAT” status to “Terminator Vibes.”
