Victoria Beckham may not be ready for grandkids just yet! In a recent interview with Vogue, the Spice Girls star was caught off guard when asked about becoming a grandma. “Jesus. What? Woo. Hang on,” Beckham, 49, replied in a video published Friday, fanning herself off at the thought of the idea.
Victoria and David Beckham‘s eldest, Brooklyn, tied the knot with Nicola Peltz in April 2022. While Vicky isn’t rushing to greet the next generation, she’s intrigued by the idea and has even pondered what her future grandkids might call her. (The Beckham clan also includes Romeo, Cruz, Harper!)
“The last time I was with [Vogue editor] Anna [Wintour] I was like, ‘Anna, what do your grandchildren call you?’ And she said to me, ‘Anna.’ And I was like, well that is very elegant, so maybe I’ll take that route,” Victoria said. “But it’s not happening just yet. But, you know, hopefully one day if I am blessed, then that would be wonderful. But we’re not there just yet!”
Beckham jokingly added, “Christ, it’s hot, guys. It’s hot in here! What’s happening?!”
With nearly 25 years of marriage under their stylish belt, Victoria shared that continuous support and open communication are essential in relationships. As for giving advice to Brooklyn and Nicola – she prefers being a steady presence rather than an advice-giver.
Despite being a power couple in the public eye, the Beckhams have had their fair share of challenges. From cheating rumors during David’s Real Madrid days to weathering tough times together – their love story is a testament to fighting for each other and their family.
So hold tight – no baby Beckhams just yet! Victoria and David are proving that through thick and thin, they’re always in it together!
