Last week, we said goodbye to Boston-based queen Kori King. She made her mandatory appearance on “Whatcha Packin”, a/k/a the RuPaul’s Drag Race exit interview. Kori tells Michelle Visage about her childhood as a “goody two shoes” and her love of drawing.
She discussed her early drag looks, affection for blue eyeshadow, mini dresses and big wigs (as well as her disdain for black hair and glitter.) She talks about her relationship with her drag sister Plane Jane and, yes, about her romance with castmate Lydia B. Collins. As always, she showcases a few looks we didn’t get to see, including a black and white “elevated hooker” dress and another inspired by The Wizards of Waverly Place. I am rooting for Kori and Lydia and can’t wait to see more from her.
