Hello, hello, hello and Happy Pride Month! We are back to help you celebrate the month with the finest in drag entertainment from some of your favorite queens in the Week in Drag.
We are getting treated to some amazing Down Under fashions and last week, had to say goodbye to the youngest queen of the bunch. We are also getting more from the queens of All Stars 6, a steamy video from some season 13 stunners, a new YouTube channel from Katya and Trixie and so much more.
The fierce festivities are already underway, so let’s bring it to the runway!
On last week’s Drag Race Down Under, the queens had to market their very own yeast spread and on the runway, competed to find out who was the finest Sheila in the bush. Their looks get tooted and booted by Raja and Raven on the latest episode of “Fashion Photo Ruview.”
The UK queen with the best laugh in the business, the radiant Divina De Campo joins Yuhua Hamasaki to discuss the Aussie and Kiwi-themed looks on “Bootleg Opinions”.
Drag Race UK’s Northern Irish flower, Blu Hydrangea, shares a message of love and support to her Down Under counterpart on “Losing is the New Winning.”
Our favorite Glamor Bug, Etcetera Etcetera, was the queen who had to sashay away on the latest episode after proving no match for lip sync assassin Maxi Shield. On the latest “Drag Race Yearbook”, she talks about her time on the show, addresses the Scarlet Adams blackface situation and gives out the superlatives to her fellow queens.
Etcetera’s yeast spread ad may have sent her packing, but it inspired her latest single. Check out the video for “Flush.”
While we were sad to see Etcetera go, I was truly saddened to see the exuberant and talented Anita Wig’lit leave after the Ru-cycled fashion challenge. She brings a New Zealand snack and talks about her (too short) experience on the series as she talks to Buzzfeed Oz’s “Drag & Dine.”
We haven’t forgotten about the queens of Drag Race Espana. In their debut episode, the queens had to create looks from flea market finds. Nicky Doll and Alexis Mateo toot and boot their runway and entrance looks on “The Pit Stop.”
The queens of the eagerly awaited All Stars 6 impersonate each other. Notice that no one impersonates Pandora Boxx because she is truly a queen like no other. #TeamPandora
Pandora’s All Stars competitor Jiggly Caliente caught us up with what’s she’s been up to since season 4 (including her co-starring role on Pose) and discusses her All Stars promo look in this interview with CNN Philippines.
Season 13’s true lip sync assassins, LaLa Ri and Denali, recreate some classic duets in this “must see” video. Watch as they channel their inner divas, including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Shakira.
“Never buy drag that wrinkles.” These and other words of wisdom from our O.G. Queen of the North, Brooke Lynn Hytes, are waiting for you in the latest “Out of the Closet.” Watch as she takes us on a tour of her LA apartment (which she inherited from the iconic Bianca Del Rio) and tells stories behind some of her famous fashions (and introduces us to her kitties, Henry and Apollo.)
If you can’t get enough of Brooke Lynn (and really, who can’t?), luckily for you, she joins Bob the Drag Queen and Monét X Change on the latest episode of “Sibling Rivalry.”
Honey Davenport is back with another season of her web series “Da Fuq.” On the first episode, Honey and Manila Luzon cover and react to weird news, talk married life, crazy Florida stories and lots more. We missed you, Honey!
Here’s even more to celebrate this June – just in time for Pride month, Trixie and Katya have launched their own YouTube channel. Check out this teaser, subscribe, and get ready for some serious tee hee hees.
While their channel gets packed with content, watch as Trixie and Katya have a conversation about…ummm…self-love…on this week’s “UNHhhh.”
Trixie’s family has often popped up in her videos (her mom’s makeover was pretty fab) and this week, her pregnant sister Samantha joins her for a “get ready together for no reason” video. I would love to spend the holidays with this family.
Willam has gone to the dogs…and the chickens…and the frogs…on this animal-themed episode of “Beatdown.” This week’s victims include a call-in animal show gone hilariously and chaotically wrong, the ultimate battle of man vs bee, a frog and chimp in an “unlikely animal friendships” video that takes a bizarre turn, an elephant enema (yes, really) and chickens with some really gross intestinal issues (you’ve been warned.) I have watched this one multiple times this week and can’t stop laughing.
It’s another queen face-off as season 12 queen Jan shares her look with her sister Nicky Doll. Could she be the fourth member of Stephanie’s Child? Watch and find out.
If you want to give yourself a makeover and are looking for a showstopping look, let Rock M. Sakura guide you through a dreamy “heart face cutout” tutorial.
Jaymes Mansfield lives the saying “the bigger the hair, the closer to God” and she creates a towering yellow-blonde wiggy wonder in her latest video.
Drag legends Nina West, Shea Coulee, Alyssa Edwards, and Latrice Royale react to the trailer for the upcoming biopic Respect, starring Jennifer Hudson.
Congrats to Laganja Estranja for hitting NYC’s famed Times Square on a billboard for McDonald’s. We’re lovin’ it.
And that wraps up our weekly wrap-up of all things drag. Since you can’t celebrate without a cake, and we leave you with a slice of music from Priyanka. Enjoy “Cake” and, until we meet again, stay healthy, stay safe, stay proud and say LOVE!
