Henry Cavill Reveals Official Images From Netflix’s The Witcher – PHOTOS

The hype for Netflix’s The Witcher series is still going strong and was bolstered by series lead Henry Cavill releasing a slew of brand-new images this morning.

The show is based on the books by Andrzej Sapkowski and takes place 20 years before the popular video game series.

Fans will finally get a look at Geralt of Rivia (Cavill) in his famous leather armor and sporting his infamous wolf head medallion.

Also shown are Ciri, Geralt’s destiny in human form, and Yennefer of Vengerberg, a formidable sorceress and lover to Geralt.

Netflix will announce more information regarding The Witcher during San Diego Comic-Con on 19th July on the Hall H panel.

In addition to the character posters, Netflix also revealed the official title treatment and tagline: The worst monsters are the ones we create.

There is still no release date for The Witcher, but it’s set to air sometime later in 2019.
