The former One Direction drama just got spicier. Zayn Malik seemingly threw some not-so-subtle shade at his ex-bandmate Harry Styles during a recent Las Vegas performance, and fans are absolutely living for it.
While performing at Dolby Live at Park MGM on Wednesday, January 28, the “Pillowtalk” singer took a moment to address his audience. “I just want to say a big, big thank you to each and every single one of you for being here with me tonight,” Malik told the crowd, according to attendees who captured the moment on video.
Then came the kicker. After thanking fans for choosing his show, Zayn delivered what many interpreted as a direct jab at Styles. “Hopefully the ticket prices weren’t too high … just saying,” he added with a knowing grin.
The timing couldn’t be more telling. Harry Styles has faced massive backlash over ticket prices for his Together, Together tour, which launched presales earlier this week. Concert ticket prices have become a hot-button issue among fans worldwide.
According to reports, prices range from $61 to more than $643, with VIP bundles reportedly reaching as high as $1,000 for Styles’ Wembley Stadium shows. Meanwhile, his 30-show Madison Square Garden residency features tickets reportedly ranging between $50 and $1,182.40, including TicketMaster’s service fees.

Naturally, fans took to social media to voice their frustration. “Together together but only if you have a lot of money money,” one disappointed fan quipped online.
The comment from Zayn Malik sparked divided reactions across social media platforms. “Oh the Harry shade,” one fan tweeted, while another exclaimed, “I’M DYING he’s so sassy I love it.”
However, not everyone was amused. Some fans pointed out that Malik’s own concert ticket prices weren’t exactly budget-friendly either. Standard tickets for Malik’s Las Vegas shows range from $92.98 to $223.39, though premium and resale tickets have been listed at higher prices.

Despite the controversy, both artists continue their respective residencies. Malik is scheduled to conclude his Stairway to the Sky residency this weekend, while Styles prepares for his massive tour ahead.
As of now, Harry Styles has not publicly addressed the ticket pricing backlash.
