Zayn Malik experienced a minor mishap during the glitzy Kenzo show at Paris Fashion Week on Friday (Jan. 19, 2024), which added a viral element to the already buzzing night.
As the event wrapped up, Zayn was caught off-guard when a car went in the wrong direction and apparently ran over his foot. Videos circulating on social media showed the singer being led through a throng of people before wincing in pain due to the unforeseen incident.
Despite the scare, Zayn remained composed and used Instagram to assure his fans that he hadn’t sustained any major injuries. He credited his unscathed foot to his well-made shoes, displaying a photo of his white sneakers which bore only minor scratches and dark marks from the tread.
In a jovial post, the 31-year-old performer expressed gratitude to the French label and its creative director Nigo for putting on a great show.
This was Zayn’s first big public appearance in six years, since his last notable outing in 2018 during Tom Ford‘s New York Fashion Week show.
