The Socialite Life staffed is obsessed with a lot of stuff, so we thought we’d share some of our obsessions with you.
From music to TV shows to gadgets to beauty products to books, these are 5 things that we are obsessed with this week:
Mexican Dynasties
If you didn’t have a chance to watch Mexican Dynasties on Bravo, you must check it out OnDemand.
The Allende, Bessudo, and Madrazo families are a trip and a half. The commentary from the domestic help is pretty hilarious as well.
I have to say that his was one of the best edited reality shows that I’ve seen in a long time. Bravo (no pun intended) to the editors.
The show’s tag line promotes the group’s at times comedic and zany behavior: “Three family Dynasties, two generations of friends…one big family circus.”
What a fun wild ride that was.
Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser and Bamboo Booster
Drunk Elephant, founded by Tiffany Masterson, who wanted a clean break from toxins and the “Suspicious 6” (essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, chemical screens, fragrance/dyes and SLSs) this brand has created a whole new category in the beauty space: “Clean-Clinical.”
Answering the prayers of many a Drunk Elephant devotee, this brand launch unites the Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser and physical exfoliant Bamboo Booster.
An innovative oil to milk formula, Slaai effectively melts away all traces of dirt, make up and sunscreen from skin, while the Bamboo Booster helps to clear build-up for a radiant complexion.
- Cleansing Balm: Slaai cleanses and moisturizes without any irritants or sensitizers.
- Melts Makeup: Slaai melts all traces of excess oil, grime and makeup from skin.
- Nourishing Formula: Slaai leaves behind a dewy glow after cleansing and moisturizing.
“I Rise” by Madonna
Superstar Madonna has released “I Rise,” the second of five songs leading to her June 14 release of album Madame X.
The singer said the song was about “giving a voice to all marginalized people who feel they don’t have the opportunity to speak their mind.”
It opens with a segment of Stoneman Douglas High School shooting survivor Emma Gonzales’ impassioned speech last year: “(They say) us kids don’t know what we’re talking about, that we’re too young to understand how the government works. We call BS!”
Listen to “I Rise”:
