In today’s Quickies — Alec Baldwin has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the Rust shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, Variety reports.
After the news broke, Alec’s attorneys Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro of Quinn Emanuel released the statement, “We look forward to our day in court.”
In October 2021, Baldwin, an actor in and producer on Rust, was holding the gun that discharged, killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza on the set in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He has denied any wrongdoing.
Baldwin was initially charged in January 2023, but those charges were dropped.

Instagram — Ashley Park, the Broadway and Emily in Paris star who recently had a pivotal role in the Emmy-winning Netflix hit Beef, revealed today that she is recuperating from critical septic shock, a severe form of sepsis in which the body overreacts to an infection.
“As I sit here processing and recovering from the first few weeks of 2024, the only word I can think of is grateful,” Park writes in an Instagram post today that also includes a series of photos and videos from her hospital stay (see it below). “What started as tonsillitis spiraled into critical septic shock, which infected and affected several of my organs.”
Jimmy Kimmel Live — Chrissy Teigen admitted that her 5-year-old son Miles has “never” eaten a vegetable. “Miles has still not had a vegetable,” she revealed during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday. “He is 6, almost.” Expect for the time, “he accidentally ate a broccoli floret in a fried rice and was so upset about it.”
Instagram — Dolly Parton shared an Instagram grid post today — which is also her 78th birthday — that revealed she’s marking the occasion in style with some new music. “Hey fans and friends, It’s my birthday so I’m going to give you a present!
