Tommy Dorfman, the 31-year-old trans actress known for her role in 13 Reasons Why, has recently found herself at the center of a viral TikTok video. In the video, she calls out a Delta Air Lines employee for allegedly misgendering her, sparking a heated conversation about human rights violations.

In the brief clip that Tommy shared on her TikTok, she can be seen confronting the Delta staff, claiming that they misgendered her multiple times. She even suggests that one of the workers did it intentionally. Although the video has been taken down, it continues to be spread across social media platforms.

According to Tommy, the incident occurred at LaGuardia Airport in New York City. She mentions one of the Delta employees named Tristan, who consented to the footage being posted online.

In the video, an off-camera voice questions the Delta worker about intentionally misgendering Tommy. The worker responds, seemingly referring to Tommy, “While she's talk—while he's talking…” Tommy quickly corrects the worker, highlighting that she had been misgendered again.

The situation escalates as Tommy accuses the Delta employee's colleague of intentional misgendering on two occasions. The Delta worker responds with condescension, suggesting that he could have security escort Tommy out of the building if she wanted to continue the discussion.

Tommy later reflects on the incident, expressing surprise at the worker's condescending response to her flagging a human rights violation. The exact cause of the altercation remains unclear.

In response to the video, a spokesperson from Delta Air Lines stated that they are aware of the situation and are actively investigating the matter. They also mentioned reaching out to Tommy to gather more information about what occurred.
