After announcing his departure from The Voice earlier this year, Adam Levine‘s been busy staying home and doing “very little.”
The Maroon 5 frontman and former coach on NBC's singing competition series could not stop smiling while discussing his time away from the small screen during Monday's appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, gushing that life as a “stay-at-home dad” is truly everything it's cracked up to be.
“This is the first time in 10 years that you're here not talking about being on ‘The Voice,'” Ellen noted. “Is it something you miss? How do you feel?”
“I really do miss it,” Adam confessed. “I love the people that I met and worked with and, obviously, we all know how I feel about Blake [Shelton]. I do miss it, but I also don't miss how much I had to work. I was just constantly working for so many years. Very lucky, very fortunate, very blessed and all that, but just to be able to kind of stop in this moment and spend time with my new, young family and just have the greatest time ever…”
“Now, I'm just like a stay-at-home dad,” he added with a grin. “I just stay home and do very little.”
