Andy Cohen is done playing coy about his love life.
The Watch What Happens Live host, 58, made his relationship with boyfriend Kevin Sobieski Instagram official on Friday, July 17, sharing a cozy snap of the pair from a night out. Underneath the photo, featuring the two wrapping an arm around each other, Cohen simply wrote, “Date Night.”
It’s the first time Cohen has posted a photo with Sobieski, 42, on his own page, even though the two have quietly been dating for close to a year. Cohen was first romantically linked to Sobieski in June after the pair were photographed holding hands following the television personality’s 58th birthday dinner in New York City.
The reveal didn’t come out of nowhere. Cohen had already been dropping hints for weeks. Back on the June 8 episode of his SiriusXM show Radio Andy, he teased, “I feel like if you’ve been listening to this show, maybe you’ve gotten a sense that something’s going on with me,” adding, “And this fella and I have been holding hands all over town, you guys.”

Cohen also opened up about why he took his time before committing. “I don’t want to be with the wrong person. I value my time too much. I value my life too much,” Cohen said on the show, adding, “I have great friends and a great life and great kids. My criteria about what I was looking for never changed. It’s always been a feeling for me. I’ve always followed the feeling. I am really happy to say that I met the person.”
As for how they met, it was a classic Hamptons meet-cute. “It was 11 months ago and I saw him from across the party,” Cohen recalled, explaining he “almost didn’t go” that night. “I never get invited to gay parties in the Hamptons anymore. I was like, ‘You know what? Let me just go.'” They ended up talking “all night,” and Cohen joked he “very methodically” put his number in Sobieski’s phone, double-checking twice that he’d gotten it right.
Sobieski, a Harvard Business School grad, works in portfolio operations at investment firm TPG. He’s largely stayed off the radar, but Cohen has gushed about his bond with his kids, Ben and Lucy. “He loves my children,” Cohen said, “and they love him and I love him.”
Cohen has also poked fun at their 16-year age gap. During a July 8 taping of WWHL, he covered his face and quipped, “I’m only in a 16-year age-gap relationship.”
The Bravo world showed up big for the couple online. The Valley star Brittany Cartwright joked, “Dayte noiggght,” while RHOA alum Marlo Hampton wrote, “Date night looks good on you,” and Summer House star Kyle Cooke added, “Stud muffins.”
