Hollywood's buzzing with a hot new celeb pairing—we’re talking about the ultimate musical matchup between pop icon Mariah Carey and rock legend Lenny Kravitz. It looks like Mariah’s said ‘Bye Bye' to ex-flame Bryan Tanaka and hello to a fresh love tune with Kravitz.
According to spill-the-tea experts Deuxmoi‘s latest podcast, Mariah and Lenny turned up the heat last year around the same time Mariah and Brian called it quits (though news of that split only hit the headlines in December).
The rumor mill’s been working overtime since these two chart-toppers have been popping up together all over town. Fans caught them super cozy at A-list hangouts, and get this – Lenny was cheering for Mariah's front row at her epic Christmas concert! They even shared some low-key romance over dinner at the trendy Craig's in West Hollywood.
Hold on to your seats because word on the street is this duo is gearing up to make their couple debut at the glam Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony later this year.
Prior to this, Mariah was in a longtime relationship with her former backup dancer, Bryan. Their split news first surfaced late last year, when people noticed his absence from her shows, which he had become a fixture at since they started dating in 2016.
Tanaka took to Instagram like a true gentleman, tipping his hat to their shared years with nothing but love and respect.
“Our decision to embark on different paths is mutual, and as we navigate these separate journeys, we do so with profound requests and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the invaluable time we've shared,” he added. “The memories we've created and the artistic collaborations are etched in my heart forever.”
And Lenny? He was previously married to actress Lisa Bonet from 1987 until their divorce, which was finalized in 1993. The former spouses share a daughter, Zoe Kravitz.
