A heartwarming Thanksgiving scene unfolded in downtown Los Angeles as former power couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner came together for a meaningful cause at a charity event.
The ex-spouses, whose marriage lasted from 2005 to 2018, joined forces at The Midnight Mission to serve meals to hundreds in need. Their three kids also showed up to lend helping hands at the gathering.
Decked out in hairnets and aprons reading “I heart the Midnight Mission,” Affleck and Garner, alongside actress Sarah Paulson, smiled for photos at the annual Thanksgiving Street Fair. The mission’s website promises “live music, celebrity appearances, and the distribution of hygiene items to our homeless guests.”
Dancing With The Stars favorite Sasha Farber and his season 33 partner Jenn Tran pitched in to serve traditional holiday dishes.
Located in LA’s Skid Row district, The Midnight Mission has made it their yearly custom to bring in volunteers who help dish out thousands of complimentary Thanksgiving meals.
