Margot Robbie is having some fun in Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), which looks like it is going to be one wild ride of a film.
The just-released first trailer for the film teams Harley up with some of Gotham City’s coolest new heroes, all of whom are making their DC Extended Universe debut.
Joining Robbie's Harley Quinn are Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez), from the Gotham City Police Department; the Black Canary/Dinah Lance (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), who gives just a hint of her superpowered voice while singing in a club (no telling yet how much that will play in the film); the crossbow-wielding Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead); and perhaps the DC Universe’s most lethal set of hands, Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco).
They are all fighting against the big bad Black Mask, who comes from the Batman comics and is played by Ewan McGregor.
