In a powerful display of solidarity, Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, and America Ferrera have rallied behind their longtime friend Blake Lively. Following Lively’s legal action she filed against her It Ends With Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni and her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars released a unified statement on Instagram expressing their unwavering support.
“As Blake’s friends and sisters for over twenty years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation,” the statement began. “Throughout the filming of It Ends With Us, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set, and we are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice.”

The trio emphasized their concerns, stating, “Most upsetting is the unabashed exploitation of domestic violence survivors’ stories to silence a woman who asked for safety. The hypocrisy is astounding.”
“We are struck by the reality that even if a woman is as strong, celebrated, and resourced as our friend Blake, she can face forceful retaliation for daring to ask for a safe working environment. We are inspired by our sister’s courage to stand up for herself and others,” they continued, directing followers to comprehensive coverage by The New York Times (gifted link).
Tamblyn took to her Instagram Story to share her personal perspective as a “confidante” during Lively’s challenging experience filming It Ends With Us.
“I’m glad all of this has come to light with solid reporting and receipts,” Tamblyn noted. “I ask you to please read the full article and specifically, the legal complaint at the link.”
The legal documents reveal disturbing allegations against Baldoni, including claims of inappropriate behavior during production. Lively asserts that he displayed explicit content without consent, made intrusive inquiries about her personal life, and incorporated additional sexual material into the film after her initial agreement to participate.

According to the complaint, Lively sought intervention from producers to address Baldoni’s conduct through multiple requests. Despite both parties agreeing to protective measures, the complaint alleges that Baldoni orchestrated a targeted smear campaign against the acclaimed A Simple Favor actress through crisis publicists.
The support for Lively extends beyond her Sisterhood castmates, with her sister Robyn Lively and It Ends With Us author Colleen Hoover publicly declaring their solidarity with the actress during this legal battle.
