Celine Dion was moved to tears on Monday night (Jun. 17, 2024) after she received a standing ovation at the New York screening of her Amazon MGM documentary, I Am: Celine Dion.

“Thank you to all of you, from the bottom of my heart, for being part of my journey. This movie is my love letter to each of you,” the “My Heart Will Go On” singer told the Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall audience. “I hope to see you all again very, very soon.”

Directed by Academy Award nominee Irene Taylor, I Am: Céline Dion promises a “raw and honest” look at the superstar’s battle with Stiff Person Syndrome, also known as Moersch-Woltman Syndrome. According to a press release from Amazon MGM Studios, the film will also “highlight the music that has guided [Céline’s] life while also showcasing the resilience of the human spirit.”
