Celine Dion is showing off a new look in a recently-released photoshoot.
For the Harper’s Bazaar 2019 Icons issue, shot by famed photographer Mario Sorrenti and styled by global fashion director Carine Roitfeld, the star is photographed sporting a dark pixie cut hairstyle and wearing eccentric fashions.
The cover features Dion wearing a black wig with a choppy fringe and slicked-back hair.
The series focuses on talent that the magazine call independents, those “who break rules, inspire and set precedents.”
“To me there is nothing more iconic than being singular – no one before you or after… and no copycats because they would not know where to start,” Carine Roitfeld, Harper’s Bazaar‘s global fashion director, said in the spread.
“But beyond being unique and talented, the 10 cultural forces in this year’s Icons portfolio have expanded, redefined, or completely dispensed with accepted notions, expected behaviors, previous templates, and any rules about their crafts. Their attitude and confidence is an inspiration.”
Other celebrities who posed for the issue include Kate Moss, Shailene Woodley, Alicia Keys, Regina King, Awkwafina, Lakeith Stanfield, Christy Turlington, Alek Wek and Devon Aoki.
