As Daniel Craig moves on from his James Bond days, heโ€™s got some exciting projects lined up. But when it comes to who should step into 007โ€™s shoes next, Craigโ€™s not losing sleep over it.

In a recent chat with Variety, the British actor was asked about the future face of James Bond. His response? A chuckle and three simple words: โ€œI donโ€™t care.โ€

Since Craig announced that 2021โ€™s No Time to Die would be his Bond swan song, fans have been buzzing about whoโ€™s next. Craigโ€™s run as the suave spy spanned five films:

  • Casino Royale (2006)
  • Quantum of Solace (2008)
  • Skyfall (2012)
  • Spectre (2015)
  • No Time to Die (2021)

Post-Bond, Craigโ€™s found a new detective gig as Benoit Blanc in Rian Johnsonโ€˜s Knives Out series. He first donned Blancโ€™s accent in 2019โ€™s Knives Out, returned for 2022โ€™s Glass Onion, and is set to appear in next yearโ€™s Wake Up Dead Man.

Meanwhile, Craigโ€™s also starring in Luca Guadagninoโ€™s Queer, hitting theaters on November 27.

As we wonder about Bondโ€™s future, itโ€™s clear Craigโ€™s career is far from slowing down. Whether heโ€™s cracking cases or taking on new roles, heโ€™s keeping us on our toes โ€“ just like 007 would.
