Demi Lovato treated their fans with a new sultry selfie taken after filming their first sex scene.
In the note accompanying the pic, the singer and actor said that they had a “burst of body confidence” that made them feel “sexy enough.”
The 28-year-old star took to their Instagram account on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, to share a selfie post-sex scene filming.
Lovato is set to star in and executive produce an upcoming NBC comedy series about eating disorders titled Hungry, which got a pilot order this year, although the post did not specify that the racy scene was shot for the series.
“Had to film a sex scene today,” Lovato, 28, captioned the post. “My first one! I had a little anxiety going into it but the cast and crew were so professional and easy to work with, it calmed me down immediately.”
“Then, I thought about how proud I am for being able to feel comfortable enough in my skin to do that. I rarely ever showed my arms before.. now I’m in this!!”
“I don’t always feel good in my skin, so when I do, AND I feel sexy enough to post – I do just that!” the pop star added. “It’s important to celebrate the little wins. Yay for this random burst of body confidence and yay for awkward hilarious sex.”
As many fans know, for years Demi struggled with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, an eating disorder, and bullying.
