Elon Musk has expanded his family once again, reportedly welcoming his 14th child with Shivon Zilis, a top executive at his brain-chip company Neuralink. The revelation came through Zilis’s post on X—the social media platform under Musk’s ownership.
Zilis shared the news, stating, “Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our wonderful and incredible son Seldon Lycurgus.”
The tech titan responded with characteristic brevity, dropping a heart emoji in response. Seldon joins his siblings, including twins Strider and Azure from November 2021, and another child with Zilis announced in June 2024.
The announcement surfaces amid fresh controversy as Ashley St. Clair, a conservative social media personality, files a paternity lawsuit against the entrepreneur.
St. Clair is pursuing sole legal custody while highlighting that Musk “has met him only three times and has had no involvement in his care and upbringing.” Her legal team points to various communications, including post-birth text messages, where Musk reportedly confirmed his paternity.

According to St. Clair’s account, she and Musk began their romantic involvement in May 2023, leading to her son R.S.C.‘s conception in January 2024. Despite minimal involvement in their child’s life, she revealed that Musk expressed interest in having additional children with her.
Her legal representative stated, “Ashley St. Clair has filed paternity and custody petitions to protect the best interests of her child.”
Musk, known for his outspoken stance on population decline, previously told Page Six that “2.1 kids is replacement rate, and obviously the world as a whole will soon drop below that point.”

Adding to the family drama, another of Musk’s co-parents, Grimes, recently resorted to public platforms to contact him during one of their children’s medical emergencies.
The tech magnate’s complex family dynamics and relationships continue generating media attention. While his children count grows, questions about his involvement in their lives persist. Musk maintains silence regarding St. Clair’s allegations and his relationships with his numerous offspring.
