Nominations for the 82nd annual Golden Globe were revealed Monday, with Wicked, Gladiator II, Anora, Emilia Pérez, A Complete Unknown, Baby Reindeer, The Bear, Shōgun and Slow Horses among film and TV projects in the mix.
Emilia Pérez leads film nominations with 10, ahead of The Brutalist with seven and Conclave with six. TV nominations are led by The Bear with five and Only Murders in the Building and Shōgun with four each.
The big-budget box office hits fared slightly less well than the leading festival movies with Wicked, Gladiator II and Dune: Part Two scoring eight nominations among them.
Kate Winslet (Lee and The Regime), Sebastian Stan (The Apprentice and A Different Man), Selena Gomez (Emilia Pérez and Only Murders in the Building) are all double nominees. With his 11th nomination, Denzel Washington is the most-nominated Black performer for the Golden Globes.
