French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati had an unexpected mishap during his Saturday competition. As he soared over the bar, his seemingly rather large penis collided with it, knocking it down.
The commentators struggled to describe the scene, leaving awkward pauses as they noted it wasn’t due to insufficient height, but rather on his descent. They avoided mentioning the specific body part involved.
While the television commentators did not quite know what to say, X users were not shy about discussing the situation.
