Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to our wrap-up of all things RuPaul’s Drag Race. In this edition of the Week in Drag, we celebrate Ru’s (well deserved) Emmy wins and announces a new holiday tour featuring some of your favorite slay bells.

We also have new music from Alaska, a long-awaited wig makeover from Jaymes Mansfield, and lots of reasons to laugh with videos from our fierce, funny queens, including Trixie Mattel, Katya, Bob the Drag Queen, Thorgy Thor, and Willam. We’ve got lots to cover, so let’s bring it to the runway!

Of course, we need to congratulate Mama Ru and the cast and crew of RuPaul’s Drag Race for their Emmy wins this past week. The 13th season of the show won a trophy for outstanding competition program last week’s ceremony, a victory that gives RuPaul an 11th Emmy and solidifies his place as the most decorated Black artist in Emmy history. Ru also won for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program and Untucked won for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program.

Flanked by Michelle Visage, Symone, and Gottmik, Ru thanked the Academy, Viacom and CBS and “all of you gorgeous people here tonight.” He added, “Really thanks to all of our lovely children on our show from around the world. You know, they are so gracious to tell their stories of courage and how to navigate this difficult life [that was more difficult this year]. This is for you and for you kids out there watching. Come to Mama Ru.”

Drag Race UK is back and season three started out with a bang – and the return of Veronica Green. On the new World of Wonder series “Binge Queens”, some of your faves recap the premiere episode. Newly crowned All Stars champion Kylie Sonique Love, congenial queens Heidi N Closet and Pandora Boxx, lip sync assassin Laganja Estranja, Rock M Sakura and the handsome Scott Nevins take a look at the highs and lows of the premiere.

Even though we haven’t even gotten through pumpkin spice season, it’s time to talk a little about the winter holidays – and there’s no better way to spend them than with some of your favorite queens. All Stars Monét X Change and Trinity the Tuck are hosting “A Drag Queen Christmas.” Dubbed “The Naughty Tour”, the show stars Sasha Velour, Kylie Sonique Love, Shea Coulee, Jaida Essence Hall, Alyssa Edwards, Miz Cracker, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Crystal Methyd, Heidi N Closet, Denali Foxx, Jan Sport, and Willam. The tour kicks off November 10 in Detroit and has stops across the country until ending December 29 in Savannah. Tickets are now available at dragfans.com.

Need more holiday cheer? All Star Ginger Minj is hitting the road for Ginger Minj's Winter Wonderland holiday tour. teams up with her bestie, Gidget Galore, in this non-denominational, musical romp through the holidays. Experience all of the nostalgic, wintry, and cozy feels as they create festive magic on stage. The tour kicks off on November 27 in Atlanta, with stops in Washington DC, LA, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle. Tickets are now available, so treat yourself or a loved one to some holiday fun.

Bob the Drag Queen and Thorgy Thor have emerged as a hilarious drag duo and have gifted us with a new series, “The Bob and  Thorgy Files”. In the latest episode featuring highlights from their appearances on “The Pit Stop” and “Purse First Impressions”, they roast Ru and the US and UK Drag Race queentestants.  Thorgy’s spot-on impersonation of Ru’s laugh is one for the ages

With the upcoming release of Dear Evan Hansen, Peppermint and Latrice Royale write inspirational letters to their younger selves. Is someone chopping onions in here?

If you’re a fan of action movies, you might want to check out the exciting new Netflix movie Kate. If you have already checked it out, you can relive the flick’s most memorable moments with Trixie and Katya on “I Like to Watch.”

As a self-confessed theatre nerd, I was delighted to see that theatre was the topic on the latest YouTube episode of “UNHhhh.” If all the world’s a stage, Trixie and Katya are the most funny players on it.

Speaking of funny people, a comedy legend sits in Trixie’s makeup chair for her “Trixie Secret Celebrity Makeover Challenge.” I don’t want to give too much away, but this performer is notorious.

The amazing Alaska has a book on the way as well as a new tour. If you want a sneak peek on what you can expect, check out this video for her new single “Red.” We’ll be interviewing Alaska about her new projects soon, so stay tuned!

Willam is back on the “Naw Stars” runway. Check out her take on the Drag Tots runway challenge, her “Frill of it all” look and her Courtney Act Big Brother UK finale inspired ”Oops, I did it again” look.

Get more Willam in the latest “Beatdown”. Watch as she reacts to a White Barn brawl, some very candid virtual marriage counseling, a trio dancing for Jesus and some aggressive driving gone wrong.

While I have a hard time believing these two have haters, Gottmik and Violet Chachki react to their critics on the latest episode of “No Gorge.”

Yuhua Hamasaki and Laganja Estranja react to Laganja’s Drag Race audition tape and it it everything.

Jaymes Mansfield has finally gotten her hands on Bob the Drag Queen's Tina Burner-inspired wig and turns it into a true masterpiece.

Rock M Sakura plays Drag Race trivia in “Are You Smarter than a Drag Race Girl?”

 .

Canada’s Drag Race season one queen Illona Verley is the latest queen to be “exposed” by Joseph Shepherd. She discusses indigenous life on a reservation, auditioning for The US version of the show, her transition, and, of course, her time on Canada’s Drag Race

And that wraps up all of the Drag Race news fit to print for this week. Until we meet again, stay safe, stay healthy, get vaccinated, and say LOVE!
