The fashion world's favorite supermodel is making a spectacular comeback! Heidi Klum is set to return to her iconic role as host of Project Runway in its upcoming Freeform reboot (the show will also air on Hulu and Disney+).
While fans eagerly await more details about the show's revival, including the premiere date and the star-studded judges panel, the announcement has already created massive buzz in the entertainment industry.
Klum's legacy with Project Runway spans an impressive 16 seasons (2004–2017), during which the show found its home on both Bravo and Lifetime. Her exceptional hosting skills earned her a Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program, alongside several other prestigious nominations throughout her tenure.
The show underwent a significant transformation in 2019 when it returned to Bravo, with supermodel Karlie Kloss stepping into Klum's stilettos as host, while Season 4 winner Christian Siriano took over Tim Gunn‘s mentoring duties.
The latest chapter in the Project Runway saga was revealed in Oct. 2024, announcing its 2025 return on Freeform. The network promises a fresh take that will “evolve for a new generation” while staying true to its roots. The producers have assured fans that while introducing innovative elements, they'll “honor our die-hard Project Runway fans.”
Beyond her Project Runway comeback, Klum continues to dominate reality TV. She remains a beloved judge on NBC's America's Got Talent, which is gearing up for its milestone Season 20 later this year. Additionally, she co-created and co-hosts Prime Video's Making the Cut with her former Project Runway colleague Tim Gunn, with its third season having streamed in 2022.
