Ben Affleck may have chosen to let Jennifer Lopez take the spotlight on tonight’s Met Gala red carpet, but he did come with her for the event.
Bennifer was photographed kissing inside the venue with their masks on. When you’re that deeply in love, nothing is going to stop you from showing PDA.
Lopez, frequently a Met Gala standout, interpreted the evening’s theme, “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion,” with a nod to the Wild West with a Ralph Lauren gown, wide-brimmed hat, faux fur cape and a leather belt. It took 15 embroiderers more than 12 days of work to complete the look, according to the designer.
Just days prior, Lopez and Affleck made their relationship red carpet official at the Venice Film Festival on Friday.
The new couple, who were previously engaged from 2002 to 2004, made their red carpet debut like it was the early aughts, sealing their newly-minted reconciliation with a kiss.
The couple walked hand-in-hand ahead of the premiere of Affleck’s new film The Last Duel. Lopez wore a daring Georges Hobeika white couture gown with a cascading slit, while Affleck opted for a classic black and white tuxedo with a bow tie.
