Directed by the visionary Charlotte Rutherford, the video is a vibrant celebration of women. Channeling the iconic Rosie the Riveter from the 1943 “We Can Do It!” poster, Perry rocks the famous red polka-dot bandana but spices things up with a patriotic bikini that will leave you breathless.
Katy kicks off the track, singing, “Sexy, confident / So intelligent / She is heaven-sent / So soft, so strong,” setting the tone for the powerful anthem. The chorus boldly proclaims, “It’s a woman’s world and you’re lucky to be living in it.”
But that’s not all! Perry transforms into a bionic woman with robot legs, strutting her stuff in a teeny white bikini. The video also features a cameo from the internet sensation Trisha Paytas, who joins Katy for a wild ride in a monster truck.
