As they say, all good things must come to an end. Unfortunately for Lindsay Lohan, her Beach Club and reality show are coming to a premature end.

Page Six reports that MTV has announced that Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club won’t be renewed for a second season, and her Mykonos nightclub in Greece, where the show was set, has closed.

The club has been opened for just over a year, and the reality show, which followed the lives and loves of the staff, launched in January to good ratings

That did not last long as the show was plagued with negative reviews, with The Hollywood Reporter calling Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club “vapid and tedious.”

“There was a renewal idea that producers hoped would perk it up for a second season,” said a source close to the production.

“It would be turned into a show about Lindsay and (her mother) Dina Lohan and (sister) Ali Lohan, (but) that wasn’t going to happen.”

The show didn’t have “enough drama,” the source added. “They wanted ‘breakdowns.' That’s not where (Lohan) is at with her life anymore. Their personal business doesn’t need to be aired on television; it’s already in the papers anyway.”

Also, the beach club in Mykonos in which the show takes place at appears to have closed down.

According to a Page Six source, reservations have been cancelled, and social media users report driving by to see the club abandoned and its sign removed.

So I'm guessing this is why Lindsay Lohan is working on new music?
