I wish I could say that I was always comfortable with my queerness but in all honesty I wasn’t and I rejected it for a while. Me becoming a better artist and enjoying what I do more and more has gone hand in hand with embracing my queerness,” he says.
“It’s made my music better because it’s more honest. I feel so much freer to express myself now, whether that’s through fashion, how I move when I perform or through writing about things like gay sex.”
