Madonna surprised fans at New York’s iconic LGBTQ venue Stonewall Inn with a speech and performance on New Year’s Eve. The singer was recently named the Stonewall ambassador to kick off events marking the 50th anniversary of the riots, which took place there in 1969 and helped launch the modern LGBTQ movement.

Madonna also surprised the crowd with a performance of “Like A Prayer” as well as Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love,” accompanied by her youngest son David Banda.

Pete Davidson rang in the new year with a stand-up show in Boston, according to reports.

A source who attended the show told E! News that the 25-year-old comedian joked about subjects including his ex-fiancée Ariana Grande, as well as some fellow comedians.

“Here’s the thing about the breakup song,” he told the crowd, referring to Grande’s hit “Thank U, Next,” which refers to him. “Usually breakup songs you know who it’s about but you don’t really know. That G named all of us,” he told the crowd. “Bam. She named all of us. And then, tells us, yeah, he has a big dick.”

Congrats Pete, on having a big dick.

Comedian Tiffany Haddish did not have a good New Year’s Eve. The comedian, 39, performed for a soldout crowd at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, but when some of her jokes didn’t land, fans began to walk out.

Eventually, Haddish broke out a bottle of Ciroc and started drinking with the audience.
