As a comic book, superhero and movie fans mourn the passing of the legendary Stan Lee, Marvel and Disney paid tribute to Lee Tuesday with a video that looks back at his life and legacy.

Marvel’s video focuses on the person and the personality behind those superheroes.

Throughout the four-minute clip Marvel Comics and The Walt Disney Company remember the legendary Stan Lee, as we get to hear from collaborators and company executives as they dish on the creative genius and his influential work. In addition, there are various interview excerpts with Lee himself.

He breathed passion into not only his work but his fight and commitment to equality and diversity. The now record-breaking Black Panther was created by both Lee and Jack Kirby in 1966. In the midst of the Civil Rights Movement, Lee committed to Black Panther and created a representation for African Americans within comic books.
