It has been tough, but we’ve spent all week long scouring the depths of Instagram to bring you this week’s Instahottie — Justus Pickett.
28-year-old Justus Pickett is an actor and model who played running back at the University of Tennessee.
He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on August 2, 1993.
How did Pickett become a model? He told Essence magazine, “I’ve been passing on several modeling opportunities for a long time due to the fact that football has been my primary focus,” Pickett said.
“While playing football, I began falling in love with the fashion industry where I started to believe modeling and acting was my calling. After uploading a face selfie on Instagram, it immediately went viral and caught the attention of Marvin at the Bienaime Agency. He presented me with a great opportunity that I could not pass on. I knew about his quality work and list of high profile model clients so I thought it would be great opportunity for us to come together and produce some amazing photoshoot.”
