ABC News anchor David Muir faced harsh criticism on social media after footage emerged showing him securing his firefighter jacket with wooden clothespins during his coverage of the Los Angeles wildfires.
This common practice among journalists reporting in challenging weather conditions was employed by Muir to prevent his jacket from moving in the wind, which could have interfered with the microphone equipment and audio quality during his broadcast.
โLadies and gentlemen, heโs first of all wearing a fake firemanโs jacket, and what youโre seeing on the close-up as he turns to reference the scene behind him and shows us his back, which clearly he wasnโt anticipating would make it on cam, his clothes pins pulling his jacket in โ cinching it, if you will, my ladies โ so that his waist looks morse svelte on camera,โ Kelly said of Muirโs attire during her latest installment of The Megyn Kelly Show.
โThe abject vanity of this man,โ she further noted.
If there was ever a question that Megyn Kelly was an actual journalist, this response proves that she is not. It is as if sheโs never worked in the news industry before. Oh, thatโs right. Sheโs only worked in a studio.
As for Jack Osbourne. Heโs a washed-up reality star looking for Elon Muskโs praise and MAGA love. Tagging Elon Musk? For what? #Sad
And to note, David Muir was on the scene while Megyn and Jack were in the comfort of their whatevers. As for the jacket, who gives a fuck what heโs wearing? Itโs not his personal jacket. ABC News, his employer, provided him the jacket.
