Olivia Rodrigo lands second number 1 song with Good 4 U

Olivia Rodrigo has landed atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week with โ€œgood 4 uโ€ for the second time, showing that her breakout single, โ€œdrivers license,โ€ was no fluke.

Billboard reports that the song earned 43.2 million on-demand streams in its first week, easily enough to debut at No. 1. She previously debuted atop the chart with โ€œdrivers licenseโ€ earlier this year.

Rodrigo has now only released three proper singles, and all of them have found space inside the top 10 on the Hot 100. After โ€œdrivers licenseโ€ began falling down the Hot 100, Rodrigo returned with โ€œdeja vu,โ€ which debuted and peaked at No. 8 on the Hot 100.

Her new album, Sour, dropped last week, and it already has the distinction of being the first debut album to produce two No. 1 hits since Macklemore & Ryan Lewis The Heist in 2012. A female debut album hasnโ€™t done so since Lady Gagaโ€™s The Fame in 2008.

The album is expected to find its way to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in a week or so after its first full tracking frame has eclipsed.
