If you visit the Perry-Bloom household this week, you might be surprised by the spotless kitchen. Recently on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Katy Perry shared some interesting thoughts about household chores and their impact on her relationship with fiancé Orlando Bloom.
“If I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, and you’ve done all the dishes and closed all the pantry doors, you better be ready to get your dick sucked,” Perry, 39, said enthusiastically on Alex Cooper‘s popular podcast.
Bloom, 47, engaged to the “Lifetimes” singer since 2019 and father to their four-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom, responded to Perry’s Instagram post about the podcast appearance. He playfully commented, “I’ve cleaned the whole house,” under pictures of Perry with Cooper and a close-up of Perry’s “DAISY” necklace.
This wasn’t just a joke from Bloom. Perry told Cooper, “He does the dishes. We’re fortunate to have a housekeeper, but on the weekends he knows that that’s important.” She revealed that one of her love languages is “acts of service,” specifically keeping things neat and tidy.
“I mean, like, literally. That is my love language. I don’t need a red Ferrari,” she explained. “I can buy a red Ferrari! Just do the fucking dishes! I will suck your dick! It’s that easy! Don’t you know? It’s facts.” Perry shared a story from a couple’s retreat they attended, where someone asked which guy has more sex: the one with a red Ferrari or the one who helps his wife in the kitchen every night?
According to Perry, the answer was clear: “In the kitchen was the answer! In the kitchen. And Orlando knows all that. He hears me and he meets me there now.” When not discussing Bloom’s “magic stick,” Perry has been busy promoting her upcoming album, 143, set to release on Sept. 20. She’s also set to receive the Video Vanguard Award at the 2024 MTV VMAs on Sept. 11.
