In a surprising turn of events, actor Pedro Pascal has reportedly parted ways with his longtime stylist, Julia Ragolia. This decision comes on the heels of significant online backlash directed at Ragolia, including the alarming revelation that she had received a death threat over one of Pascal’s recent red-carpet looks.

For years, Ragolia has been instrumental in crafting Pascal’s signature style, often featuring a blend of classic tailoring with modern, sometimes unexpected, touches. However, a particular ensemble worn by the actor at a recent Star Wars event in Japan appears to have ignited a firestorm among some fans. The outfit, which included shorts paired with knee-high boots, sparked harsh criticism online, with some reactions escalating to an unacceptable level.

Ragolia herself addressed the situation in April of this year, taking to the social media platform X to share the disturbing message she had received. “One of you called for my death because you didn’t like Pedro’s outfit… I’m just going to let you sit with your obsession,” she posted, showcasing the severity of the online vitriol she faced.

Despite the negativity, Ragolia remained firm in her stance, emphasizing that styling is a collaborative process and that Pascal, as an adult, has agency over his own fashion choices. “Pedro is a grown adult with his own opinions on what he likes,” she stated, reminding followers that stylists work with their clients, not against them.

While Ragolia has not explicitly stated the death threat as the sole reason for the professional split, the timing is certainly suggestive. It’s important to note that stylists in the public eye, particularly those working with high-profile celebrities like Pedro Pascal, can often face intense scrutiny and unsolicited opinions regarding their work. However, the escalation to death threats represents a deeply concerning trend in online fan culture.

As of now, neither Pedro Pascal nor Julia Ragolia have issued an official statement regarding the parting of ways beyond Ragolia’s initial post about the death threat and reports of the split. It remains to be seen who will be taking over styling duties for the beloved actor in the future, especially with highly anticipated projects on the horizon.
