She may have made it to the top four, but she has come in first place in many of our hearts. The pride Hialeah, Florida, Juicy Love Dion, was the latest queen to sashay away on season 18 of RuPaul’s Drag Race after proving that she is a lip sync assassin and growing as a performer over the course of the challenges. As usual, Juicy took some time to chat with Michelle Visage on Whatcha Packin’? and Onya Nurve on Hello Hello Hello.
In her sit-down with Michelle, Juicy talks about how she developed her makeup skills and growing up with a supportive family (and how she won her father over with her performances) in Miami. She also talks about her exceptional dancing and lip syncs and how Mama Ru’s advice to find out who she is flavored her experience on the show. She made it cool to embrace your flaws and showed off some of her most memorable looks from the season, including her pink paneled dress, her pangolin inspired animal dress and her green “vagina” dress – all from the same designer
In her second “exit interview” with Onya Nurve, Juicy talks about getting the call that she had been cast and her reaction. She also details highlights from her 6-years in drag (since high school) and explains why she’s the princess of Miami and Mykonos. As she shares clips from her audition tape, she also recounts her stint on So You Think You Can Dance, her relationship with Morphine Love Dion (and shares a favorite high school story about her drag sister), competing against Athena and her cringey take on Jojo Siwa as her Snatch Game audition character.
And, if that’s not enough, she does some reads of some Drag Race alums and reveals who she thinks is season 18’s biggest flirt, who had the best entrance look and who was her biggest competition. Expect Juicy to flex her lip sync assassin-worthy skills this week and get ready for lots more from this spicy Florida queen.
