Real Housewives of Atlanta is down one cast member, Entertainment Tonight reported that Kenya Moore is “suspended indefinitely,” allegedly over some online content that surfaced.
Bravo is not commenting, but Moore and newcomer Brittany Eady were reported to have recently confronted each other over the material.
ET, citing a source, reports, “Kenya was suspended for allegedly depicting Brittany performing a sexual act at the grand opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta, from images allegedly found online. The network is still reviewing the content Kenya displayed during filming.”
The media outlet confirmed that Eady and the rest of the ensemble are still filming. They reported it was “unclear” if Moore would return.
The online rumor mill speculated that there was a threat made against Moore that involved a gun.
A separate source close to the show told ET, “At no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon, nor was there ever a weapon present during the course of production.”
Moore is not staying silent. She posted a statement on social media, saying, “I would never engage in revenge porn, I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail.” She added, “I have always been vindicated.”
For her part, Eady wrote via her own Instagram Story, “It’s never a good feeling being targeted or HAZED by someone I thought would embrace me into a new circle that I never met.”
“For the record,” she went on, “I’ve never once had possession of any weapons or threatened anyone ever. I’ve never been to jail, in fight, or even had as much as a speeding ticket. That’s not my character. I am hurt by the narrative that’s being displayed. Wrong is wrong.”
In leaked audio from the event, you hear Moore allegedly saying, “You a paid ho. Brittany does escort. There’s an IG that put her emails out on blast; she charges $1,400 for an appointment. You not only a ho, you a cheap whore. You on covers of magazines being a thot. … You all of those things, OK? You over here on Snapchat. Yo Gotti was like, ‘Snapchat me that p—y,’ and you did!”
The upcoming 16th season of RHOA features returning Porsha Williams and Drew Sidora and a new cast that includes Kelli Ferrell and Angela Oakley.
