Jen Shah, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City former star, currently incarcerated for wire fraud conspiracy, has just received surprising news. Inmate records reviewed by Page Six reveal that her prison sentence has been shortened once more.
When Shah first stepped into Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas back in February 2023, she was looking at six-and-a-half years behind bars. But life had other plans. Just a month later, they knocked a year off her sentence. Now, theyโve trimmed it down by another eight months. This means the 51-year-old could walk free as early as Dec. 19, 2027.

Shahโs world turned upside down in March 2021 when she was arrested โ a moment RHOSLC fans wonโt forget from that explosive season two episode. She was accused of being part of a telemarketing scheme that targeted older folks. At first, Shah stood her ground, claiming innocence. But in July 2022, just before her trial was set to kick off, she changed her tune. She told the judge, โI knew it was wrong, many people were harmed and Iโm so sorry.โ
Even though Shahโs been behind bars for over a year now โ and apparently made friends with fellow inmate Elizabeth Holmes โ sheโs still keeping tabs on RHOSLC drama. After the season four finale aired in January, where her co-star Heather Gay pointed the finger at Shah for that mysterious black eye from the previous season, Shah had something to say. A message on her Instagram Story read: โBRAVO, if I punched Heather in her eye, you guys would have footage to prove it. Itโs clear the show canโt live without me since I was brought up at the beginning, middle and end of season 4.โ
