In an interview with Access Hollywood, Pattinson reveals that Willem Dafoe‘s performance in The Lighthouse (in which Robert co-stars) may actually be the inspiration for what his Batman voice will sound like:

“Willem's voice in this is quite inspiring for it to be honest. It is pretty similar to the voice I'm gonna do… I think Batman has a sort of pirate-y kind of voice…”

That works for me.

As for the Batsuit, Pattinson revealed that he hasn’t cast his eyes upon the final version of his new Batsuit, but he has heard some interesting notions coming from director Matt Reeves.

“Matt has got a really awesome idea about it,” he confessed. “I think this thing is going to be very, very cool.”

Pattinson also admitted that he’s been more into exercising lately after the interviewer brought up how he didn’t use to like it.

“I didn’t when I was younger, but now, as I’ve kind of gotten older I’m suddenly getting aware of aging,” he said. “So now I’m kind of like, I need to put some effort in otherwise I’m gonna need a hip replacement.”

Robert is super excited the Zoe Kravitz will be playing Catwoman. He told Entertainment Tonight: “Yes! Zoe’s great and I’ve known her for years and years and years. I mean, I’ve been friends with her for like ten years and she’s brilliant.”
