While Ryan Gosling went viral for a reaction to his win at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, Ariana DeBose went viral for her reaction to a very, very bad joke at her expense.

Gosling delivered an amazing reaction after his Barbie track won Best Song at the Critics Choice Awards. The star appeared completely taken aback when โ€œIโ€™m Just Ken,โ€ co-written by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, was announced as the winner.

It beat out two popular Barbie songs in the category, โ€œDance the Nightโ€ by Dua Lipa and โ€œWhat Was I Made Forโ€ by Billie Eilish, along with three other nominees: โ€œPeachesโ€ from The Super Mario Bros. Movie, โ€œRoad to Freedomโ€ from Rustin and โ€œThis Wishโ€ from Wish.

Accepting the award onstage, Ronson told Gosling, who remained in the audience: โ€œThis is as much your award as ours. You made the audience fall in love with this song with your matchless performance,โ€ he said.

Ariana DeBose wasnโ€™t a fan of a swipe at the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday after presenters cited her among โ€œactors who think theyโ€™re singers.โ€

The Oscar winner (for West Side Story) and Broadway star (Hamilton and Pippin watched from the audience as presenters Bella Ramsey and Anthony Ramos name-dropped her as they presented the category for Best Song at the ceremony.

โ€œThen there are the actors who also think that theyโ€™re singers โ€“ Jack Black, Ariana DeBose and Ken himself, Ryan Gosling,โ€ said Ramsey after Ramos named nominees Billie Eilish, Lenny Kravitz and Dua Lipa among โ€œfamous voices in the music industry.โ€

Cameras panned to DeBose during the segment, and she didnโ€™t look pleased.

She later took to Instagram to weigh in on the jab. โ€œNo I didnโ€™t find it funny. Lol,โ€ wrote DeBose, who was nominated in the category for the song โ€œThis Wishโ€ from Disneyโ€™s Wish.
