Sean “Diddy” Combs faces a $100 million default judgment in a civil lawsuit. A Michigan inmate claims Combs drugged and sexually assaulted him at a 1997 Detroit party.

A Lenawee County Circuit Court judge ordered monthly $10 million payments starting October 1, as reported by the Detroit Metro Times. The judgment came after Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith, 51, successfully filed a restraining order.

Default judgments are given when defendants don't respond to legal proceedings. Combs' absence at a virtual hearing on Monday triggered the default.

Cardello-Smith, a self-taught legal student serving time for unrelated reasons, has a history of filing lawsuits. This judgment adds to Combs' growing legal troubles amid multiple sexual assault claims.

The plaintiff showed prison records of Combs visiting him, claiming he was offered over $2 million to settle but declined.
