Singer, songwriter, dancer, model and director Stewart Taylor has plenty of sides to him, and in this edition of the Socialite Seven, he gives us a glimpse at the person behind the music. From his dream day in LA to the three music legends he’d invite to his ultimate dinner party, Stewart reveals his karaoke go-to, his dream collaboration, and the surprising things people don’t always realize he does.

He also imagines the perfect cocktail for “Dark Summer,” shares the movie title he’d give his life story, and reveals, for the first time, the title of his upcoming album.

You’re spending a day in LA with no plans and no responsibilities. Where are we going, what are we doing, and what’s playing in the car?

Okay. We’re going to Malibu. We’re going to be blasting Lana Del Rey or Lana Del Rey dance remixes on the PCH as we drive down the highway together. And we’re definitely going to a beach in Malibu, probably oh gosh, which one? Leo Carrillo Beach – which I filmed at as well. That’s a fun day.

You’ve got to sing one song karaoke that isn’t your own. What are you singing?

“Let Me Entertain You” by Mario. That’s a go-to.

Who would you love to collaborate with?

Ooh, Lady Gaga. 100%.

If “Dark Summer” were a cocktail, what would be in it, and how dangerous would it be?

Ooh, it would be, like, a really witchy kind of cocktail. It would probably have it would probably have…there’s this gin that is a purple gin. I’m forgetting what it’s called. You know what I’m saying? I can’t remember what it’s called. I don’t remember. Anyway, it would have purple gin or something like that and it would be a little bit sweet as well and it would be bewitching.

You get to spend one night partying with any three musicians, living or dead. Who’s on the guest list?

Jeff Buckley who I’ve loved since I was a teenager. Loved him. Ooh, I would have to party with Madonna, and I’d want to party with Prince.

What’s one thing about you that people are always surprised to learn when they meet you?

You know what? A lot of people are sometimes surprised to learn that I’m a songwriter – or that I’m a director. A lot of people think, “Oh, wait, you write all of these too?” And I’m like, “Yes, I write everything or I co-write.” But all of it comes from my notebooks and from my experiences, and I think people tend to think, especially in the pop business that you’re not writing any of your songs and that you’re just changing a word, and nope, I’m coming up with the concepts. I’m writing my melodies or co-writing them, and it’s all coming from me.

If your life right now were a movie, who, what would the title be and who would want, who would you would, you want to play you?

The name would be Forever 17, and that’s also the name of my album – which you’re the first person I’ve told that, so you can you can drop that news. As for who’s playing me? Oh, I’d want Austin Butler to play me. Not that we look anything alike, but he’s pretty great at what he does.
