Who can ever forget Rihanna’s Omelette dress or Jason Derulo falling down the stairs? And it seems there was no shortage of memes this year as well.
Simu Liu was snapped admiring Eiza González on the red carpet at the Met Gala and the photo has become an internet sensation.
“Sorry @EizaGonzalez we got memed,” Liu wrote on his Instagram story after the image made the rounds on Twitter and Instagram. “You really did look amazing tho.”
