Sophie Turner will not tolerate influencers who want to promote harmful weight-loss products on social media.

On Tuesday (October 08, 2019) the Game of Thrones actor made a video eviscerating all the influencers out there using their platforms to post harmful weight loss “#ads.”

“Hey guys, just kind of going for my influencer look today,” Turner says in the clip.

“Today I just wanted to promote this new powder stuff that you put in your tea. Basically, it makes you shit your brains out. It’s totally really, really bad for me to be promoting to young women and young people everywhere, but I don't really give a fuck because I’m getting paid money for it. Influencer life.”

The post was quickly shared by her fans across Twitter and Instagram, who praised Turner for tackling the issue with her signature sense of humor.

She's not the first high-profile celebrity to criticize Instagram influencers, with The Good Place star Jameela Jamil sharing her own parody video recently.

The fellow Brit poked fun at weight loss shakes, with her Grammy Award-winning partner James Blake editing in sound effects for good measure.
