  • Swift and Kelce donated $26M to 20 charities across the U.S. ahead of their rumored MSG wedding.
  • Donations covered food banks, children’s hospitals, educational programs, and animal welfare groups.
  • City Harvest and the RI Community Food Bank each confirmed receiving $1 million from the couple.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly days away from saying “I do” at Madison Square Garden, but the power couple made sure to give back first. The duo quietly unleashed one of the biggest celebrity philanthropic moments of 2026, donating $26 million to at least 20 charities across the United States in the days leading up to their highly anticipated wedding weekend.

A representative for Swift confirmed the news with a straightforward but sweeping statement: “This week, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift donated $26 million to charities across the United States.”

No mention of a wedding. No fanfare. Just $26 million worth of impact delivered with signature Swift-style precision.

The 20 charities include nine food banks, an animal cruelty organization, seven educational programs, and three children’s hospitals, all concentrated in cities where the soon-to-be-married couple has deep personal roots.

City Harvest in New York City was one of the first organizations to publicly confirm a donation, revealing it received $1 million from the couple and calling it a watershed moment for the city’s ongoing fight against food insecurity.

“We are incredibly grateful for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s generous $1 million donation to City Harvest. This donation is a love letter to New York, and a bold commitment to our efforts to ensure that no New Yorker goes hungry,” said Jilly Stephens, CEO of City Harvest. “Their support comes at a critical time, with visits to New York City soup kitchens and food pantries near record highs and expected to increase further in response to federal funding cuts.”

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank, located in a state where Swift owns a prized Watch Hill mansion, also confirmed a $1 million gift.

“We are incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for their extraordinarily generous and unexpected gift,” said Melissa Cherney, the food bank’s CEO. The donation will support 137 member agencies fighting hunger across the state.

In Nashville, The Store, a free grocery store co-founded by country star Brad Paisley and actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, also counted itself among the beneficiaries. “We’re incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for their transformative gift to The Store. Their kindness will help more families across Middle Tennessee access fresh, healthy food with dignity and choice, and we’re honored to have their support,” the organization said in a statement.

Williams-Paisley herself took to social media to react, writing, “We are so grateful for your generosity! What a way to start a marriage!”

The full list of charities reads like a map of the couple’s life story. It includes Helping Harvest in Swift’s hometown of Reading, Pa., and After-School All-Stars in Kelce’s hometown of Cleveland, alongside Kansas City’s Children’s Mercy Hospital and Harvesters, The Community Food Network.

National organizations on the list include Feeding America, the ASPCA, Dolly Parton‘s Imagination Library, Grammy In The Schools, and MSK Kids, the pediatric cancer program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

The charitable blitz arrives as preparations at Madison Square Garden reach a fever pitch. Workers have been seen unloading staging equipment, landscaping materials, production cases labeled “Garden Party” and “Mirror Ball,” and other event infrastructure.

An NYPD police memo reported by the New York Times detailed a smaller rehearsal dinner for about 100 people at Madison Square Garden this evening, with a larger celebration for about 1,000 people expected on July 3.

Neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly confirmed any of it.

The couple officially announced their engagement last August, sharing a post on Instagram that read: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” They have been together since the summer of 2023, when Kelce famously made headlines by attending Swift’s Eras Tour in Kansas City.

Swift has a well-documented history of large-scale charity. Throughout her record-breaking Eras Tour, local food banks revealed they had received donations as her tour passed through town. Other contributions in recent years went to Florida hurricane relief, Tennessee tornado relief, Los Angeles wildfire relief, the American Heart Association, children’s hospitals, and individual fans battling cancer.

The $26 million donation raises the bar considerably. For 20 organizations across the country, it may well be the most extraordinary pre-wedding gift they have ever received.
