Huluโ€™s highly acclaimed culinary dramedy, The Bear, has secured a reservation for its third season, as announced by FX chairman John Landgraf during the Television Critics Association winter press tour on Friday. The season is set to release in June and, much like its predecessor, will likely be released as a binge-watch.

According to Landgraf, the showโ€™s creator, Chris Storer, has managed to capture a particular vibe throughout each season, even with the episodes standing on their own. Season 2 followed the same release format as Season 1, and Landgraf has expressed that they plan to continue this trend in the upcoming season.

The Bear stars Jeremy Allen White as chef Carmy, who embarks on a culinary journey by transforming his familyโ€™s Chicago sandwich shop into a high-end restaurant after the passing of his brother. Alongside White, Ayo Edebiri plays Carmyโ€™s co-chef and colleague Sydney, and Ebon Moss-Bacharach portrays Carmyโ€™s unpredictable friend Richie.

The trio all won Emmys for their performances in the showโ€™s freshman season, with The Bear winning Outstanding Comedy Series and earning ten awards. Landgraf expressed immense pride and excitement in welcoming back the cast for Season 3.

The finale of Season 2 saw Carmy finally open the restaurant of his dreams but with an unexpected twist. On the night of the grand opening, he found himself locking himself in the walk-in fridge while his staff ran the service. Season 2 aired last June and will be eligible for next yearโ€™s Emmys, adding to the excitement surrounding The Bearโ€˜s highly anticipated third season.
