Get your rolling pins ready! A new dozen amateur bakers will be heading to the tent for another season of The Great British Baking Show, which premieres on Netflix on Sept. 24, 2021. New episodes will debut each Friday.

Last week, Netflix dropped a surprise teaser, showing the first glimpse of the baking tent for this year. The clip, soundtracked by the show’s theme, has us dreaming of this year’s new bakes.

For those who are new to the show, the British baking competition, known in the U.K. as The Great British Bake Off, takes place over several weeks of challenges. Judges have amateur bakers make complicated cakes, biscuits (British for cookies), breads, and pastries.

One contestant gets crowned the “Star Baker” each week, with another getting eliminated. At the end, one baker wins the show’s famous engraved cake stand.

The show’s long-standing judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith are confirmed to return. Also returning are veteran host Noel Fielding and newbie Matt Lucas, who took over hosting duties from Sandi Toksvig last season.
