Us Trailer

So the Us trailer debuted on NBC during the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors game last night. This was my 83-year-old mother’s comment:

I don’t even know what to say about that. What was that?

“For my second feature, I wanted to create a monster mythology,” Director and writer Jordan Peele told Entertainment Weekly on Thursday.

Set in the present day, Us centers on Adelaide and Gabe Wilson (Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke) as they take their kids to Adelaide’s childhood home in Northern California for the summer. They unwind with their friends (Elisabeth Moss and Tim Heidecker), but Adelaide, still haunted by a past trauma, becomes paranoid that something is about to hurt her family.

The monsters, it seems, are the Wilsons themselves.

Us premieres March 15, 2019. Watch the trailer below.
