Tom Felton was hospitalized after collapsing at a charity golf match

Harry Potter fans are sending messages of love and support to Tom Felton after he collapsed at a golf tournament.
The actor, who played Draco Malfoy in the hugely popular film series, was taking part in a celebrity Ryder Cup match at Whistling Straits Golf Course in Wisconsin on Thursday (Sep. 23, 2021) when he had the medical incident.
A video posted on Twitter by an onlooker shows Felton, lying in a stretcher, as the golf cart carrying races to exit the course.

The crowd assembled cheers, as Felton appears to be conscious and aware of his surroundings; while the Twitter user writes that Felton suffered “an apparent heart attack,” this has not been confirmed by any other sources. However, it looks as if dehydration may be to blame for his collapse.

Felton, who is an avid golfer, was representing Europe in the event alongside fellow stars like former Juventus star Alessandro Del Piero, NBA stars Toni Kukoc, and Sasha Vujacic as well as Finnish NHL great Teemu Selanne, among others.

Felton is a veteran of more than 50 movies but is best known for his eight-film stint in the Harry Potter film series.

On Wednesday, Felton shared a smiling picture of himself to Instagram in celebration of his 33rd birthday.

“Good lord it’s been so much fun getting here – yet, somehow, I still feel the best is yet to come,” he wrote in the caption. “Let’s keep a good thing going – to the next 33.”
